O Come, O Come Emmanuel

The mystery and majesty inherent in the tune and feeling of this popular traditional Christmas hymn has always made it one of the most moving for me. The scene is almost set my friends, soon the stable door will open, and Christ will be among us.

Be sure to check out:

O come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear

O come, Thou Key of David, come
And open wide our heavenly home
Make safe the way that leads on high
And close the path to misery
